Los Angeles- After revealing the face-lifted 2013 Ford Mustang V6 and GT the hardcore edition of the Mustang the GT500 was revealed today with a kind of a surprise by Ford to the Automotive industry.
When Chevrolet released the ZL1 Camaro "the first competitor for the Mustang GT500", all eyes went and waited for the come back from Ford, but no one imagined it would be as hard as this come back. The ZL1 Camaro was powered by the LSA engine that is rated @ 580 BHP and that was a good competitor for the outgoing GT500. For the year 2013 the GT500 is equipped with a 5.8L Supercharged V8 that kicks out 650 BHP with these number Ford crushed all the numbers that was offered by Chevrolet and GM and there pride V8 that powered the ZR1 Corvette the LS9 that was rated at 638 BHP.
With this move by Ford i think they are trying to deliver a message for every Auto-maker on the industry that Ford is still here and it is "BUILT TOUGH"
The Good news: This is a way more powerful car than before but we are not pretty sure about the handling, yet a Nurburgring edition was spied earlier this year and we cant tell what Ford is hiding for us.
The bad news: Ford kept the same look for the new Mustang with a slight changes on the exterior and the interior of the car. The car still looks pretty but come on! " Ford you are going against the Camaro, making it more powerful wont make the consumer buy the Mustang because the Camaro a beautiful car".
My prediction: GM will be producing a Z28 edition of the Camaro to go against the new Boss the GT500 that will have a tweaked version of the LS9 or a smaller yet powerful V8 and i mean 650+ BHP that will be used for both new generation Corvette's and Camaro's.

Last month mercedes introduced the new generation M-class SUV, which had a new front and rear fascia plus an upgrades for the interior.
They introduced it with different engine classes but for the U.S for the first time they offered a clean diesel engine, which they call it "blueefficiency".
Today they unveiled the High-performance version of the M-class the AMG edition more to be as a "hardcore" edition of the ML.
Despite the name badge "63" for displacement they fitted it with a 5.5L Bi-Turbo V8 with an output of 518 BHP and 516 lb-ft of torque delivering that power by AMG re-calibrated 4MATIC all wheel drive system.
My ideas:
Mercedes should've gave it more power because its going to be against the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and the BMW X5 M and both of them has 550+ horses and they have about the same value.
My opinions:
Mercedes are using for their new design sharp style, you get an eye pain by just looking it. They are trying to achieve the best aro dynamic shape as possible. For the ML they let go the little curves and made them sharper for this new model.
Things i like : the front looks of the car is beautiful and tells everyone you're driving a Mercedes Benz, it gives you the personality and you arrive in style especially with the AMG badge-ing all over the car and im loving the Mercedes Benz signature LED on the front bumper " Audi made the world a huge favor".
Things i don't like: The rear of the car especially the bumper and the place of the quad exhaust in the back, there is so much going on in the back especially the big air vents above the exhaust, when i first looked at the car i thought they are actually the exhaust tips. Also, the rims, whats going on Mercedes couldn't find another style of rims that suit the SUV, i like the rims but we are getting sick of them they are on every AMG model. I know AMG vehicles are special and you guys want them to look different but all AMG products have the same personality now.
My Hopes:
i wish they didn't forget that this is an SUV " Sport Utility Vehicle " that is capable off road not just on a track and good for daily use, because i think this segment are for the people who actually need a sporty vehicle but also capable off road.
